The White Madness
We all have obsession with some or the other thing, whether momentarily or for a long period. Although too much of preoccupation with anything is unhealthy, it’s difficult to let go the craze we build up for something with the course of time. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve developed obsession with the color white that my mind is just not ready to give up. I often scan through the category of ‘best white dresses for women’ online and have crammed my wardrobe with this color. My love for white ultimately persuaded me to go for a photo-shoot keeping it as the main theme and posing in some of the amazing collections I own.
1. The Ultrachic Floral White Dress
I got this outfit from Delhi’s Sarojini Market and I’m absolutely in love with it. Surprisingly, the dress didn’t fascinate me in the first look and I was reluctant to buy it. But after trying it on, the comfort and elegance of this one-piece convinced me to have it in my possession. To embrace its simplicity, I settled on my favorite round jhumkas and black wedges from streetstyle.com. You can also wear this dress as an upper garment and pair it up with plazos or leggings.
2. The Royal Indo-British White Attire
My preference for posh and royal style has turned out to be my unicity as a fashionista and so; I decided to pick this combination of apparels. This majestic Indian and British fusion is actually a georgette kurti-style top (ajio.com) matched up with a long white skirt. To give it a more royal touch, I opted for golden chandler earrings. As for the footwear, I went for white pencil heels. If you have a family function or a wedding on the cards, you can certainly rely on this look.
3. The Sexy Indian White Look
As an Indo-western dress style is always in vogue, I contrasted the same long skirt with a creamy white blouse and a hot pink Jaipuri dupatta. I really like this skirt for the very reason that I can try it with different types of clothing. You can go for white sandals and boho or gold jewellery to keep up with its traditional essence.
4. The White Vintage Maxi Outfit
Another best pick from my collection, this maxi style frock is quite comfy and ideal for hanging out in the sweltering weather. I decided on red pencil heels (luluandsky.com), scarlet Rayban sun glasses and red lipstick to give it a classy appearance. You can try different color combinations for a new look every time you stroll out in this midi dress.
5. The Kicky Thug Style in White
There’s a special reason to name this look. Deep down my personality is more of a tomboy, ready to show the enthusiasm and courage of a thug. The rigid knot of the shrug and the confident appearance of the skirt very well define the vivacious and risky side of my personality. This is also one of my favorite party dresses. I got the bodycon skirt from shein.com, the netted coat from Max Fashion and heels from Steal Toes (footwear store in Delhi). Another thing I like about this look is that any type of accessory appears good with it.
